Hi everyone! I have been wanting to make an advent calendar or some sort of way to celebrate each day before Christmas... because so much of Christmas is about the anticipation!
So after seeing this super cute project I knew I found the perfect project for me!
It it so easy and if you are a crafter on a budget this project is great for you!
Basically all you need for this project is some cute decorative paper (I used the Dear Lizzy Christmas paper but you could mix it up and use different paper on each side of your boxes!), four 4x4 inch boxes (available at PZ in white and craft for less than a buck each!!), number/letter stickers, adhesive and ribbon.
First cut your pattern paper in squares measuring 3.75 inches and glue to each side of your boxes.
Next add stickers. For box one you'll want to put numbers 0,1,2,3,4 & 5; box two will need numbers 0,1,2,6 or 9, 7 & 8. On box three spell out "days until" and on box four spell "Christmas" with your letter stickers.
Finally add a little ribbon and wrap it up like a gift!
I think this would look so cute sitting on a mantle or under the tree! It would also be such a nice gift to give to one of your friends or neighbors.
Happy Holidays Friends!
