Because I had so much fun with using Fimo clay to make Christmas ornaments (post here) I wanted to make something else with the clay. I decided to use the clay to make embellishments for some Valentine cards!
Here's what I did:
Work the clay in hands to soften, then roll into ball.
Flatten ball of clay.
Apply VersaMark Dazzle ink to clear stamp.
Stamp clay.
(Be careful not to apply too much pressure while stamping clay, as it can get stuck in the stamp.)
Bake for 30 minutes at 230*.Glue onto Valentine!
Here are a few of the cards I made.
To make the cards I used PZ Facets paper, Making Memories Je t'adore patterned paper embellishments, and the Martha Stewart paper tape.
To make the larger heart I flattened out a piece of clay slightly lager than the heart, stamped, then cut away excess clay around the heart.
I would love to see what you can make with Fimo clay!
Happy crafting!
