New Doodlebug Cards!

Hi All! If you have visited one of our stores lately I'm sure you've noticed one of our new products, the giant card spinner with Doodlebug cards! I am in love with these cards, they are sold individually and they come in 9 great colors and 8 unique shapes. Even the envelopes are amazing! They made card making so easy, all you have to do is add a few embellishments and your done! Oh, and did I mention they only cost $.75 a piece!!

Alright, now let me show you easy they are to decorate!
First gather your supplies:
I chose to use the new paper and embellishments in Basic Grey's Hello Luscious line. You will also need scissors, a paper trimmer, adhesive, white card stock, black ink and a Copic marker.

Let's start with the green card: place one of the flower pop stickers inside the card so it peeks out the square panel.

Then for the inside greeting stamp "thanks" onto white card stock with black Memento ink.

Next, color the inside of the letters with the Copic marker (I used color B00).

Next cut notches in the ends of the strip of paper to create a banner shape.

Finally glue the greeting onto the inner panel of the card.

Next up is the pink card!
Start by cutting a 2 inch strip of patterned paper and glue onto the front panel of the card.

Trim the excess paper.

Next, take a few pieces from the die-cut shape embellishments.

Trim off the end of the tag.

Next tie the tag to the scallop circle shape with a piece of string.

Last, glue embellished scalloped circle to the card.

Now on to the blue card!
First cut a few strips of patterned paper one two inched wide and the other .75 inches.
Layer the smaller piece onto the thicker piece and glue onto card.

Next, place pop sticker on right side of strip.

Finally, add letter sticker to front of card to create greeting.

Now you are done!

Wasn't that so easy? I would encourage you to stop by your local PZ and pick up a few of these cards. They would make perfect Mother's Day cards!
I would love to see how you decorate your Doodlebug cards!
Happy card making!
